Beneficial modified CBD Molecules Can Help Fight Skin Diseases

For the first time, a study has shown that CBD Molecules induce antioxidant and anti-inflammatory enzyme production.

A partnership between the University of Cordoba and the University of Dundee showed for the first time that CBD Molecules induce the production of heme oxygenase 1 – an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory enzyme – in cells of the upper layer of the skin, known as keratinocytes, by suppressing the protein BACH1. Researchers still need to understand how CBD Molecules act on different skin cells to have beneficial antioxidant effects.

CBD Molecules and the fight against skin diseases

Researchers designed the new molecules to have much more potent antioxidants. These newly designed molecules have twice the antioxidant power, as they inhibit the BACH1 protein and also activate the NRF2 protein, which controls how certain genes are expressed. These specific genes help protect cells against oxidative stress.

Professor Eduardo Muñoz, head of the BIO-304 Molecular Virology and Immunopharmacology research group at the University of Córdoba, said that as soon as it is possible to describe the entire functioning mechanism, modifications will be made to the cannabidiol molecule in order to try to improve its properties in combating skin diseases. By combining the inhibition of BACH1 with the activation of NRF2, the result is a very potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory response and better therapeutic effects.

The researchers say the mechanism of action is interesting for treatments for skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis and the rare disease epidermolysis bullosa. The team will now continue to modify the molecules to improve their properties and carry out animal studies to understand their therapeutic potential for skin and other inflammatory diseases.

In response to Dr. Alster, CBD Molecules oil is a calming agent with anti-inflammatory properties which is useful for the skin. According to Dr. Alster, it relieves pain, itching, and oil production on the skin provides moisture, and reduces oil production on the skin.

The safety and effectiveness of topical CBD for treating all types of skin are well established. There are not any complications in using the products. The use of topical CBD is a good option both for patients with severe skin conditions, as well as people who are looking for innovative skincare." Dr. Alster continues. Several dermatological conditions such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema are positively affected by CBD's anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to reduce dryness, irritation, and redness. The creams, oils, gels, and serums that contain CBD are useful not only for moisturizing and soothing the skin, but they have also been shown to relieve pain associated with certain skin disorders."

According to studies done on CBD, it is shown that it can inhibit the production of free radicals. CBD oil may position itself as a treatment that fights free radical damage induced by sun exposure, which may help to reduce wrinkles and blemishes and help to smooth wrinkles, according to Dr. Alster.

In addition to this, CBD products loaded with omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids are known for improving the appearance of skin and providing the skin with a youthful glow, says Christine.

Unlike other forms of CBD, which have been proven to have adverse side effects, topical CBD is safe and considered safe according to Dr. Alster.

On his blog, Dr. Grinspoon writes of the adverse effects of cannabidiol. These side effects include nausea, fatigue, and irritability.

CBD can raise the levels of certain other medications in your blood by the exact same mechanism that grapefruit juice does, and it can increase the levels of the blood thinner coumadin in your blood. It's important to note, however, that CBD is generally marketed as a dietary supplement, and not a medication, which makes it a serious safety concern. According to Grinspoon, at present the FDA does not regulate dietary supplements to ensure their quality and safety.

There are numerous labs around the world testing CBD Molecules for its ability to enhance health and to treat a variety of conditions and diseases that are currently being studied, says Dr. Alster.

CBD skincare industry is still young, which means you'll need to do more research and experimentation" before you can make a decision.
